Learning to hate the term SGA because it seems to be shitty towards trans and non-binary people.

I hate it. It splits the definition when it’s convenient. 

It says that the part about being gay that matters is being attracted to the same gender and that not being attracted to different genders doesn’t matter. 

It says that the part about being bi that matters is being attracted to the same gender and that being attracted to different genders matters only because it’s something that they can throw in your face because it’s something you share with those awful oppressors.

It says that the part about being ace that matters is that you are not attracted to the same gender because it’s something you share with those awful oppressors and that not being attracted to different genders doesn’t matter.

Like I said it splits the definition when it’s convenient.

GAY PEOPLE SHARE A LACK OF ATTRACTION TO THE OPPOSITE GENDER WITH ACE PEOPLE!

But shhhh shhhh shhhh…., ignore that. 

Bloody “it’s about SGA” turns the LGBTTQ* community into a situational, and conditional social puzzle. 

I’m not cis, heterosexual or heteromantic and I hate the hell out of it and what it stands for.
